Staying in Touch

We invite and encourage family members to attend scheduled activities and events along with their resident family members. Residents enjoy having family members participate in events and activities, visit privately in their apartment home, or stay for meals in the restaurant. Family members make a significant contribution to community life at West Hills Village.

Staff on each daytime shift discreetly check on each resident for safety and meal attendance. Quarterly, each resident’s customized personal care plan is reviewed for changes. The administrator, resident care coordinator, chef and activity director meet with residents and family at that review and encourage them to contribute ideas for change, concerns, and comments.

We also value and encourage family members to communicate with us at any time regarding community programs, activities, special events or simply to see how mom and dad are doing.

We also publish a monthly newsletter and calendar and deliver it monthly to each resident. Family members can view these online or pick up a copy at the front desk. The weekly menu is also available at the front desk.
