Aging in Place... Our Unique Status

The unique licensing of West Hills Village allows us to promote our 'Aging in Place' philosophy. Unique in our area with a residential care license, West Hills Village offers private, independent apartments with included services such as housekeeping, meals, and scheduled transportation. In addition, when personal care needs increase, our trained staff is able to bring those services to your apartment without a need to move during this crisis time. 'Aging in Place' allows freedom for changing circumstances, such as those listed below.

• If your health condition changes, additional personal care services can be delivered directly to your apartment home. As you regain health, services can be dropped just as easily.
• Couples age differently and often need different levels of personal services. West Hills Village allows couples to live together in their apartment home, with personalized services brought to them individually as needed.
• When one spouse needs permanent long-term nursing, the other spouse can live independently at West Hills Village with easy access to West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center next door for frequent visits.
• West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center provides temporary nursing services and rehabilitation for surgery recovery, heart attack, and stroke recovery right next door. After recovery, the resident returns to their West Hills Village home. Our staff can meet your homecoming needs.
